<p>HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital — a 330-bed, Level II Trauma Center on Florida's Emerald Coast — is recruiting a Director of Cardiac Anesthesiology to lead a well-established, high-volume cardiac program. This is a named leadership role with direct oversight of a 34-member anesthesia care team, approximately 400 cardiac cases per year, and a case mix that spans virtually every surgical subspecialty. The position pairs genuine clinical and administrative authority with a call structure that is among the most favorable in cardiac anesthesia — every fifth week, beeper call from home, with infrequent callbacks and zero in-house call obligations.</p>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship required</li> <li>Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA)</li> <li>Testamur or certification in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) required</li> <li>Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain (licensure support provided)</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and comfort managing high-acuity cardiac and cardiothoracic cases at volume</li> <li>Prior or emerging leadership experience in anesthesia program development, quality, or team management preferred given the director scope</li> </ul>
