Medical City ER Garland — a freestanding emergency department fully integrated with the Medical City Dallas system — is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join a well-supported team in Garland, Texas. Opened in April 2024, this state-of-the-art 10,000–11,000-square-foot facility operates 24/7/365 and sees an anticipated 30–50 patients per day across adult and pediatric populations. Physicians benefit from experienced APP coverage, 12-hour shifts, and a direct transfer pathway to Medical City Plano (Level I Trauma) and Medical City Dallas for patients requiring inpatient admission — no boarding, no admission burden.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine required
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency

  • Comfort managing the full spectrum of adult and pediatric emergency acuity, including trauma stabilization
