<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time nights position on a Med-Surg unit within an acute care community hospital</li> <li>Direct clinical patient care with per-shift responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care</li> <li>Accountable for supervision and appropriate delegation of care to supporting staff</li> <li>Medication administration performed safely and in accordance with hospital policy and established standards</li> <li>Practice guided by standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols</li> <li>Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) participation required during emergencies and disaster response</li> <li>Broad service line environment: obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including cath lab and electrophysiology), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatment), and bariatric/weight loss surgery</li> <li>Nearly 50 years of community presence in East Texas with a strong team culture and focus on patient-centered care</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Active Texas RN license required (or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice)</li> <li>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire</li> <li>Recent acute care experience preferred</li> </ul>
