Practice Highlights

  • Full-time night shift position within a busy diagnostic radiology department at a community hospital serving East Texas for nearly five decades
  • Performs basic through complex diagnostic radiographic procedures ordered by licensed physicians across all patient age groups — newborn through elderly
  • Rotation through advanced imaging areas: OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, line and tube placements, and trauma
  • Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma activations
  • Cardiology service line includes a cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology capabilities — supporting cross-departmental imaging needs
  • Neuroscience program features Brainlab technology and stroke treatment protocols
  • Additional service lines: obstetrics and gynecology, cancer care, and weight loss surgery — broad patient population and imaging demand

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology / Imaging program required; Associate degree preferred
  • ARRT certification required, or registry-eligible with commitment to obtain ARRT within one year of graduation
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Texas state radiologic technology license required (or eligibility to obtain)
  • One to three years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates meeting certification requirements are encouraged to apply
  • Comfort with advanced procedural areas including OR, trauma, fluoroscopy, and interventional support
