Practice Highlights

  • Direct clinical patient care with per-shift responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care plans

  • Accountable to CNO for high-quality, safe nursing care and appropriate resource management at the unit level
  • Regional referral destination providing specialty treatment options close to home for the broader East Texas patient population

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current, active Texas RN license (or eligibility to obtain) required
  • Recent acute care experience preferred
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
  • Demonstrated competency in nursing process: assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation across an acute inpatient population
