About the Community

Nacogdoches is one of the oldest towns in Texas, situated in the Piney Woods of East Texas — a region known for its towering loblolly pines, lakes, and a relaxed, small-city pace. The area offers a low cost of living, a strong sense of community, and access to Stephen F. Austin State University, which contributes cultural and recreational amenities well beyond the town's size. Dallas and Houston are both reachable within roughly three hours, making Nacogdoches an appealing base for clinicians who want a quieter lifestyle without sacrificing access to major metropolitan areas.
