About the Community

Globe, Arizona sits at the edge of the Tonto National Forest and the Pinal Mountains, offering immediate access to hiking, camping, and fishing in the Sonoran Desert's most scenic terrain — a strong draw for clinicians who value outdoor recreation and a slower pace of life. The city blends historic character (Gila County Courthouse, Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park) with an affordable housing market and Arizona's favorable state income tax and property tax environment, allowing residents to stretch a high clinical salary considerably further than in a major metro. Phoenix and Tucson are both accessible for urban amenities while Globe itself maintains the close-knit community feel of a small Southwest town, complete with local festivals celebrating the region's Native American heritage.
