Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ is recruiting a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead an independent, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center PED at the #1-ranked children's hospital in New Jersey. This is a W-2 employed leadership role with a fully staffed team of attending physicians and APPs, active research infrastructure, and a direct academic affiliation with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine — including a realistic pathway to establishing a PEM fellowship. Qualifications

  • Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine required
  • Established academic background and prior leadership experience expected
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow a clinically excellent PEM program; interest in fellowship development is a strong asset
  • Experience mentoring and supporting attending-level physicians and APPs in a collaborative, high-acuity environment
  • Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain
