<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology; equivalency accepted via military training (42 CFR 493.1489) or HHS examination qualification prior to 2/28/92 (42 CFR 493.1491)</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical technologist in an acute care facility; or 1 year of acute care experience combined with a Master's degree</li> <li>Certification required with an approved agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT, or CSMLS) — must be obtained within 12 months of hire</li> <li>Non-U.S.-trained applicants must complete an equivalency evaluation through ECE, NACES, or AICE within 30 days of hire</li> <li>State licensure as required by Tennessee law</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in high-complexity testing and advanced instrument troubleshooting</li> </ul>
