Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited school of medical laboratory technology or equivalent program meeting CLIA high-complexity testing criteria (42 CFR 493.1489)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical laboratory technician
- Current certification through an approved certifying agency — ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), AMT (American Medical Technologists), or equivalent
- Active Tennessee laboratory licensure or eligibility to obtain, as required by state law
- Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation troubleshooting, quality control, and high-complexity specimen processing
