Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett is recruiting an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician II (MLT II) to join its clinical laboratory team at its 196-bed full-service acute care hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee. This is a senior-level bench position with expanded operational responsibilities — including instrumentation validation, training, quality oversight, and document control — making it an ideal step for an MLT ready to take on a resource and leadership role within a high-complexity testing environment. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited school of medical laboratory technology or equivalent program meeting CLIA high-complexity testing criteria (42 CFR 493.1489)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical laboratory technician
  • Current certification through an approved certifying agency — ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology), AMT (American Medical Technologists), or equivalent
  • Active Tennessee laboratory licensure or eligibility to obtain, as required by state law
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation troubleshooting, quality control, and high-complexity specimen processing
