Valley Anesthesiology Consultants' Cardiac Division is recruiting two fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join a well-established, 21-physician practice at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Banner Estrella Medical Center in the greater Phoenix/Glendale, Arizona market. This is an independent, physician-led cardiac anesthesia group — no supervision model — performing the full spectrum of cardiac cases including on-pump and off-pump open heart surgery, cath lab procedures, and advanced structural heart interventions. Compensation starts at $550,000 and reaches $800,000 annually, placing this among the highest-paying cardiac anesthesia opportunities in the country.

Qualifications

  • Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), or board eligibility with certification achieved within 6 years of completing training
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship required
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Demonstrated comfort with the full spectrum of cardiac and structural heart anesthesia, including cath lab and hybrid OR environments
