Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum six months of hospital or food service experience within the past six years, OR a four-year degree in Nutrition
  • DTR (Dietetic Technician, Registered) credential preferred
  • Working knowledge of therapeutic diet principles, including modification and calculation of diet orders per physician prescription and RD guidelines
  • Familiarity with infection control standards applicable to food service environments (hand hygiene, sanitation, personal protective practices)
