A full-time Colorectal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity is available in Dallas, TX, within a large, physician-led medical group affiliated with a major regional health system. Practice Highlights

  • Provides both inpatient and outpatient care under physician supervision, including new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative management
  • Manages patient care plans, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications, and delivers patient and family education
  • Participates in hospital rounds, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary care coordination
  • Collaborates closely with colorectal surgeons, nursing staff, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Plays a key role in supporting the growth and development of the colorectal program
  • Part of a network encompassing over 380 providers across seven hospitals and more than 95 ambulatory clinics throughout North Texas

Qualifications

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Texas
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of surgical or inpatient APP experience preferred; colorectal or general surgery experience strongly desired
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
