About the Community

Sanford sits on the southern shore of Lake Monroe in Central Florida, offering a relaxed small-town character alongside easy access to everything the region provides — lakefront dining, a walkable historic downtown, craft breweries, springs, trails, and boating. Florida's absence of a state income tax stretches compensation further, and the cost of living remains affordable relative to other major Florida metros. Orlando International Airport, Atlantic and Gulf Coast beaches, and the area's world-renowned theme parks are all within a short drive, making Sanford a genuinely practical and enjoyable base for clinicians relocating to the Sunshine State.
