About the Community

Ocala sits in north-central Florida, roughly 90 minutes from both coasts and just south of Gainesville — close enough to Orlando and Tampa for weekend access to major-city amenities, yet offering a distinctly lower cost of living, affordable housing, and no state income tax. Known internationally as the "Horse Capital of the World," Ocala is surrounded by world-class equestrian facilities, the Ocala National Forest, and Silver Springs State Park, giving outdoor enthusiasts and families an exceptional quality of life. Strong public schools, a tight-knit community feel, and year-round warm weather round out a relocation package that is genuinely hard to match in the Southeast.
