The case mix is broad and surgically complex — spanning neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, and interventional procedures — with no pediatrics, trauma, or OB. The call structure is among the most favorable in South Florida: no overnight call, ever, with weekend call from home only once every six weeks.

Practice Highlights
- Anesthesia care team of 13 physicians and 8 CRNAs — collaborative, well-staffed model
- Surgical case mix: neurosurgery (intracranial and spine), ortho spine, orthopedics, vascular, thoracic, general surgery, plastics, ENT, urology, GYN, and electrophysiology
- Active non-OR anesthesia programs: cardiac catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, MRI suite, interventional radiology suite (neuro-interventional and interventional vascular)

- 5 days x 8-hour shifts
- 4 days x 10-hour shifts
- 2 x 12-hour shifts plus 2 x 8-hour shifts
- Call requirement: one weekend every six weeks, home call only, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. — no overnight call obligations
- 296-bed facility with comprehensive surgical service lines including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and intracranial neurosurgery
Qualifications
- Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
- Active Florida APRN license or eligibility to obtain
- Comfort with a high-acuity, surgically complex case mix including neurosurgery, vascular, and thoracic procedures
- Experience with or readiness for non-OR anesthesia environments (cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, MRI)
