About the Community
El Paso consistently ranks among the safest large cities in the United States and offers more than 300 days of sunshine per year alongside a zero state income tax environment — a combination that meaningfully extends both quality of life and take-home pay. The Franklin Mountains State Park, a vibrant culinary scene rooted in Southwest and Northern Mexico traditions, Division I universities, and strong K–12 school options make El Paso an exceptional fit for physicians relocating with families. The city carries a tight-knit community feel that is rare for a metro of its size, and its position at the crossroads of Texas, New Mexico, and the Mexican border gives it a cultural richness and outdoor access that consistently surprises new arrivals.
