Practice Highlights
- Per diem position covering weekend day shifts at a busy community acute care hospital
- Responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of designated body regions
- Performs patient positioning and instruction for radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations
- Adjusts x-ray equipment parameters — voltage, current, and exposure time — for each individual study
- Enforces all hospital-mandated radiation safety precautions throughout every procedure

Qualifications
- Active State of California Certification in Radiologic Technology required
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- 0–3 months of experience accepted — entry-level candidates are welcome
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills required; ability to document clearly and interact effectively with patients and clinical staff
- Must be able to fulfill all essential physical and cognitive functions of the position
