About the Community
Tallahassee is Florida's capital city — a mid-sized, university-driven community anchored by Florida State University and Florida A&M University, offering Division I athletics, performing arts, and a lively calendar of cultural events at a cost of living well below Miami, Orlando, or Tampa. Outdoor recreation is abundant: miles of biking and hiking trails, scenic state parks, and freshwater springs are all within easy reach, and the Gulf of Mexico's beaches are just one hour away. Top-rated public and private schools, a warm climate year-round, and a genuinely community-oriented atmosphere make Tallahassee a compelling destination for clinicians relocating with families or establishing roots in the Southeast.
