About the Community

Frankfort sits on the banks of the Kentucky River at the geographic and cultural center of the Bluegrass State — the state capital, positioned roughly equidistant between Louisville and Lexington, offering easy access to two major metros while maintaining a distinctly unhurried, small-city character. The region is defined by rolling horse-country landscapes, world-class bourbon distilleries, strong public and private schools, and a cost of living well below national averages. Clinicians who value Southern hospitality, outdoor recreation along the Kentucky River corridor, and a genuine sense of community will find Frankfort a compelling place to practice and live.
