Medical City Dallas Children's Hospital — a 254-bed, award-winning pediatric facility in the heart of Dallas, Texas — is recruiting a full-time or part-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join an established, subspecialty-rich inpatient team. This is an outstanding early-career opportunity for graduating pediatric residents (including those considering a PHM fellowship) as well as experienced pediatricians and hospitalists seeking a high-acuity, well-supported practice in one of the nation's most dynamic metropolitan markets. The campus is the only site in the DFW metroplex offering comprehensive care across all ages — from a Level IV NICU and pediatric subspecialties to adult services — all under one roof.

Practice Highlights
- Daily inpatient census of 20–30 patients shared by two physicians plus an APP during summer months; 30–50 patients shared by three physicians plus an APP during higher-volume winter months
- Physician coverage structured as 12-hour day shifts spanning 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., distributed across the physician team
- Team participates in a rotation of paid home-based support night call to the APP team
- 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit supported by a dedicated PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program
- 24/7 in-house subspecialty coverage in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, PICU, and CVICU
- Robust subspecialty collaboration with pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology, and infectious disease
- Full-service pediatric ED staffed by board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians
- Pediatric hematology-oncology program and a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services on campus
- Co-located Medical City Dallas adult hospital includes a Level IV NICU and women's and infant services — the only facility in DFW offering this full continuum under one roof

Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics (ABP)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency required; PHM fellowship training welcomed but not required
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Open to new graduates, early-career pediatricians, and experienced hospitalists — including those exploring PHM fellowship as a next step
