About the Community

Denton sits at the northern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, offering easy access to a major metropolitan area while maintaining its own distinct identity as a thriving city of more than 120,000 residents. Home to two universities — the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University — Denton carries a progressive, creative energy anchored by a nationally recognized live music and arts scene. The combination of a low Texas cost of living, strong public schools, and proximity to DFW's international airport and professional sports makes Denton an attractive landing point for physicians relocating with families or seeking an urban-adjacent lifestyle without the congestion of a major city core.
