Practice Highlights
- Full-time days schedule at an acute care hospital serving Sunnyvale and surrounding Dallas-area communities
- Independent delivery of direct patient care using the full nursing process, with minimal supervisory oversight

- Coordinates and oversees care delivered by the patient care team, including prescribing, delegating, and managing the plan of care
- Collaborates directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Serves as a clinical resource and informal mentor for less experienced nursing colleagues; eligible to lead unit-level projects
- Accountable for patient safety standards, patient rights, infection prevention protocols, and PHI security compliance
- Ongoing dynamic patient assessment with authority to implement treatment changes in collaboration with the care team

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written; additional language skills preferred
- Basic computer proficiency required
