About the Community

Nacogdoches is one of the oldest towns in Texas, situated in the Piney Woods of East Texas — a region known for its towering pine forests, lakes, and a relaxed, affordable pace of life. The city offers a strong sense of community, a historic downtown, and access to Stephen F. Austin State University, which contributes cultural and recreational amenities well beyond what its size might suggest. Dallas and Houston are both within a few hours' drive, making Nacogdoches an appealing base for clinicians who want small-town quality of life without being far from major metro resources.
