Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in critical care, emergency department, or operating room required
  • Prior Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience strongly preferred
  • Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — must be obtained through an American Heart Association-approved Training Center or the Military Training Network
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire or transfer into the position
