Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited and approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program; Associate degree required
- Current Respiratory Therapy licensure through the South Carolina State Medical Examiner's Office
- CRTT credential required, verified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); RRT preferred
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required — must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within the orientation period
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required for NICU-trained therapists
- 2–5 years of job-related respiratory therapy experience preferred
