Practice Highlights

  • Performs basic through complex diagnostic radiographic procedures ordered by licensed physicians across all patient age groups — newborn through geriatric
  • Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs with rotation through advanced imaging areas including the OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, and line/tube placements
  • Provides direct assistance to practitioners during fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma activations
  • Trauma imaging support integrated into daily workflow — exposure to high-acuity, time-sensitive cases

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program required; Associate degree preferred
  • ARRT certification required, or registry-eligible candidates considered — ARRT must be obtained within one year of graduation
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Texas state radiologic technologist license required if mandated by state regulation
  • 1–3 years of clinical radiography experience preferred
  • Comfort with advanced procedural areas (OR, fluoroscopy, trauma, interventional-assist) expected or to be developed through rotation
