- Participates in new equipment validation and implementation projects
- Conducts employee training and formal competency assessments
- Regulatory compliance responsibilities spanning CAP, TJC, AABB, and other applicable accrediting and oversight agencies
- Active quality assurance and quality control program responsibilities
- Supported service lines include 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care, oncology, urology, physical therapy, and a dedicated 16-bed orthopedic/spine unit

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or graduation from an accredited school of medical technology; equivalent pathways include military training as defined by 42 CFR 493.1489, or qualification at the Medical Technologist level via a satisfactory HHS examination score prior to 2/28/92 (42 CFR 493.1491) — all meeting CLIA high-complexity testing criteria
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical technologist in an acute care facility; or 1 year of acute care experience combined with a Master's degree
- Certification (or eligibility to obtain within 12 months of hire) through an approved agency: ASCP, NCA, AMT, or CSMLS
- Non-U.S.-trained personnel must complete an equivalency evaluation through ECE, NACES, or AICE within 30 days of hire
- State licensure as required by Tennessee law
