Practice Highlights
- Cardiac Rehabilitation unit embedded within a nationally recognized cardiac service line — top 5% in the nation for coronary interventional procedures (Healthgrades, 2023)
- Full-scope RN practice: assessment, care planning, implementation, and per-shift coordination for assigned cardiac rehab patients
- Responsibility for supervision and appropriate delegation to supporting clinical staff on the unit
- Accountable to CNO-level standards for quality, safety, competency, and resource management
- Care delivered in alignment with established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) participation required during emergency and disaster activations
- Two-campus system: Framingham Union Hospital (acute care, 24-hour ED, advanced cardiac, oncology, maternity including Special Care Level IIB nursery and high-risk OB) and Leonard Morse Hospital (behavioral health specialty center, Natick)

Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing — required
- Current Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain) — required
- Active CPR certification — required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) — preferred
- Familiarity with cardiac patient populations and comfort operating within a structured quality and safety framework
