Practice Highlights
- Operating Room RN role with direct clinical patient care responsibility across the full perioperative continuum
- Accountable for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nursing care on a per-shift and unit level
- Responsible for safe, timely medication administration in accordance with hospital policy
- Directs care in alignment with established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- Supervises and delegates appropriately to supporting clinical staff; accountable to CNO for quality, safety, and resource management
- Participates in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster activations

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP required as applicable per unit policy
- Recent acute care experience preferred; OR or perioperative background strongly advantageous
