Practice Highlights
- Telemetry unit assignment with per-shift responsibility for a defined patient caseload requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and acute care nursing judgment
- Direct clinical care encompassing assessment, care planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation across the full nursing process
- Supervision and delegation of care to appropriate support staff on the unit
- Medication administration performed safely and in accordance with hospital policy and established timelines
- Practice standards aligned with safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols
- Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergency and disaster events
- Accountability to CNO for nursing care quality, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource utilization

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required as applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; telemetry or cardiac step-down background is a strong asset
- E-Verify work authorization compliance required
