<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, or a related field; Medical Technologist internship required</li> <li>Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required</li> <li>ASCP Registry certification recommended</li> <li>One to three years of clinical laboratory experience preferred; supervisory or section-lead experience a plus</li> <li>Proficiency in technical laboratory procedures, QC protocols, and instrumentation maintenance within a microbiology or comparable section</li> <li>Physical ability to perform moderate walking and standing; lift/position up to 30 lbs; push/pull up to 50 lbs of force; and perform reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching as required</li> <li>Sufficient visual and auditory acuity to perform all position-related duties; adequate manual dexterity and mobility</li> <li>Comfort working in an environment with regular exposure to contagious and bloodborne diseases, biohazard materials, and occasional radiation hazards</li> </ul>
