  • Integrated front-desk and administrative functions: scheduling, consultation and surgery pre-certification, phone triage, patient check-out, and referral coordination
  • Non-exempt (hourly) position operating under direct physician supervision in a structured medical office environment
  • HIPAA-compliant documentation in the patient medical record per established policy

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR current Medical Assistant certification, OR three or more years of relevant healthcare work experience accepted in lieu of a diploma
  • Preferred: MA diploma from an accredited school plus at least one year of relevant clinical experience
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Preferred: formal Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
