- Non-exempt (hourly) position operating under direct physician supervision in a structured medical office environment
- HIPAA-compliant documentation in the patient medical record per established policy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR current Medical Assistant certification, OR three or more years of relevant healthcare work experience accepted in lieu of a diploma
- Preferred: MA diploma from an accredited school plus at least one year of relevant clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Preferred: formal Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
