The Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the full administrative and operational scope of a high-volume, internationally recognized orthopedic and spine practice. Practice Highlights

  • Practice revenue threshold of $14–$30 million with direct oversight of 25 or more full-time employees
  • Oversight of a Medical Director Program; role may also include establishing new-to-market practice lines
  • Full operational accountability: medical records, cash handling, deposits, billing, staff scheduling, and medical equipment and supply ordering

  • Patient population drawn from the local Fort Lauderdale community, across the United States, and internationally — reflecting the Institute's global reputation in orthopedic reconstruction and spine care

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of physician practice management experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare fiscal management and human resource management practices
  • Healthcare background strongly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and internet-based platforms required
  • Ability to perform complex financial analysis using corporate financial reports, practice billing systems, and EMR platforms; working knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding required
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a dynamic, matrixed environment
  • Ability to document and communicate reports addressing multi-level corporate and operational issues
