Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas is recruiting a PRN Night-shift Monitor Technician to support telemetry and cardiac surveillance operations across a large, faith-based health system with more than 120 years of community service. This role sits at the center of patient safety — interpreting cardiac rhythms in real time, communicating critical changes to RN staff, and maintaining the integrity of a Central Surveillance computer system.   • Patient medical record assembly and maintenance, including posting of results
  • Supply and equipment tracking: monitoring requisitions, reporting inventory needs, and coordinating maintenance and repair services

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an ECG course preferred
  • Previous monitor technician experience preferred
  • Basic Dysrhythmia Competency required within 30 days of hire
  • Demonstrated knowledge of arrhythmia identification, analysis, and interval measurement
