Practice Highlights
- Full-time mid-shift schedule within the hospital laboratory department
- Performs high-complexity testing on blood, urine, body fluids, and feces per established laboratory policies and procedures
- Obtains patient specimens and reports results in accordance with prescribed protocols
- Operates under the general supervision of the Administrative Laboratory Director; may assume supervisory responsibility for laboratory operations when requested by the laboratory manager
- Supports a broad inpatient service mix including cardiology (cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology, stroke treatment), obstetrics and gynecology, and bariatric surgery

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required
- Minimum two years of experience in high-complexity laboratory testing required
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent board required; candidates have up to three months from date of hire to complete required certification
- Active MLT licensure (ASCP or equivalent) required
- Demonstrated competency across the full scope of clinical laboratory disciplines including specimen processing, analysis, and result reporting
