<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time mid-shift schedule within the hospital laboratory department</li> <li>Performs high-complexity testing on blood, urine, body fluids, and feces per established laboratory policies and procedures</li> <li>Obtains patient specimens and reports results in accordance with prescribed protocols</li> <li>Operates under the general supervision of the Administrative Laboratory Director; may assume supervisory responsibility for laboratory operations when requested by the laboratory manager</li> <li>Supports a broad inpatient service mix including cardiology (cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology, stroke treatment), obstetrics and gynecology, and bariatric surgery</li> <li>Community hospital setting with nearly five decades of continuous service to the East Texas region, emphasizing close-to-home specialty care</li> <li>Collaborative, team-oriented department culture with emphasis on professional development</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required</li> <li>Minimum two years of experience in high-complexity laboratory testing required</li> <li>Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent board required; candidates have up to three months from date of hire to complete required certification</li> <li>Active MLT licensure (ASCP or equivalent) required</li> <li>Demonstrated competency across the full scope of clinical laboratory disciplines including specimen processing, analysis, and result reporting</li> </ul>
