About the Community

Wilmington is Delaware's largest city, positioned along the Christina and Brandywine rivers at the northern tip of the state — less than 30 minutes from Philadelphia and within easy reach of Baltimore and Washington D.C. The city offers a low state income tax environment, a revitalized riverfront district with dining and cultural amenities, and access to excellent public and private schools in the surrounding suburbs. Outdoor recreation along Brandywine Creek State Park and the broader Brandywine Valley, combined with a cost of living well below that of neighboring major metros, makes Wilmington a compelling base for clinicians who want urban access without urban overhead.
