Working under RN direction and within paramedic scope of practice, this role places you at the center of one of South Florida's most complex acute care environments — including the only dedicated children's hospital between Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Florida Paramedic license required
- BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer (inexperienced candidates accommodated)
- No prior experience required — new paramedic graduates are welcome
