Practice Highlights

- Direct participation in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation under Registered Nurse supervision

- Active role in emergency response situations including codes and patient falls, within scope of practice

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current enrollment in an accredited professional (RN) nursing program with at least one clinical rotation completed
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient care activities within nursing student scope of practice, including age-specific competency for the population served
