About the Community
San Antonio is the second-largest city in Texas and one of the most culturally distinctive metros in the Southwest — home to the historic Alamo, the celebrated River Walk, a thriving culinary scene, and a deep bicultural heritage that gives the city a character unlike anywhere else. The cost of living remains well below the national average for a major metro, and the combination of strong public and private schools, a robust economy, and zero state income tax makes it a compelling long-term home for clinicians at any career stage. Outdoor recreation, professional sports, and proximity to the Texas Hill Country round out a lifestyle that is genuinely hard to match.
