A full-time Physician Assistant opportunity is available with an established General Surgery team in Mansfield, TX, part of a premier multi-specialty physician organization affiliated with a major North Texas health system. The PA will work collaboratively with surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient surgical care across a well-resourced network of acute-care hospitals and ambulatory clinics.

Practice Highlights
- Collaborative practice alongside a general surgery team within a large, multi-specialty physician organization
- Inpatient responsibilities include rounding, progress notes, and discharge planning
- Outpatient responsibilities include pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-ups, and minor procedures
- First-assist duties in the operating room
- Comprehensive patient assessments, history-taking, and physical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
- Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with Texas state licensure and hospital policies
- Patient and family education regarding surgical care plans, recovery, and health maintenance
- Access to a network spanning seven acute-care hospitals and more than 90 ambulatory clinics
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- National board certification through NCCPA required
- Minimum of two (2) years of PA experience required
- Surgical or acute care experience preferred
- Unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA registration required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
