Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required; three years of relevant healthcare work experience accepted in lieu of formal program completion
- Active Medical Assistant certification required through one of the following bodies: NHA, AAMA, AMT (Registered Medical Assistant), NCCT, ARMA, or HPRUS — candidates will be allowed up to 90 days post-hire to obtain certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum one year of relevant clinical work experience preferred
