- Performs a variety of technical nuclear medicine procedures involving radionuclide application for diagnosis and treatment of disease

- Responsible for age-appropriate patient assessment, treatment, and care across the full patient population served
- Functions under the direction of the Radiology Director or Manager, with consultation from the facility's designated Medical Director

Qualifications
- Current California State Nuclear Medicine license — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification — preferred
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification — preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology — preferred
- Minimum one year of Nuclear Medicine experience — preferred
- Working knowledge of all facets of nuclear imaging, processing techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols
- Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and foundational understanding of human physiology
- Ability to adapt exam routines and techniques as needed to optimize image quality
- Proficiency with relevant software applications and basic computer systems
- Ability to transport patients as required
