  • Performs a variety of technical nuclear medicine procedures involving radionuclide application for diagnosis and treatment of disease

Qualifications

  • Current California State Nuclear Medicine license — required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification — preferred
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification — preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology — preferred
  • Minimum one year of Nuclear Medicine experience — preferred
  • Working knowledge of all facets of nuclear imaging, processing techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols
  • Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and foundational understanding of human physiology
  • Ability to adapt exam routines and techniques as needed to optimize image quality
  • Proficiency with relevant software applications and basic computer systems
  • Ability to transport patients as required
