Qualifications

  • Valid, current Arizona RN license required; compact state license accepted with ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 30 days
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications preferred
  • No minimum years of prior experience formally required; OR or cardiac surgical nursing background is a strong asset given the open heart specialty focus
