- Shift-level responsibilities include assignment preparation, real-time staffing adjustments, delegation of chart checks, defibrillator and refrigerator logs, abnormal lab follow-up, supply management, and quality monitoring
- Active role in ongoing unit-based quality improvement: development and implementation of PI monitors and reports
- Supports staff growth through ongoing educational needs assessment and direct bedside teaching when opportunities arise

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required at minimum
- Valid permanent Multi-State RN License from state of residence required; RNs holding a compact license from another state must obtain a South Carolina Multi-State RN License within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within the orientation period
- Additional unit-specific certifications (CV/critical care relevant) required within the orientation period
- 2–3 years of acute care or comparable clinical experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred
