Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required — Master's degree preferred
- Minimum three years of relevant clinical nursing experience; cardiovascular experience including bedside care of open-heart patients strongly applicable to this service line
- Two or more years of management or supervisory experience preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona required
- BLS/CPR required; ACLS required as applicable to the department; PALS/NRP required for certain clinical areas
- Preferred certification for Surgical Services: CAPA, CPAN, or CNOR
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent clinical and operational judgment under deadline pressure with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency with personal computer systems; experience with Kronos or comparable timekeeping platforms an asset
