<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Ambulatory medical office setting within a distinguished multi-specialty physician network serving patients of all ages</li> <li>Direct clinical support role working under physician supervision — vital signs, history intake, medication reconciliation, visual acuity assessment, and chief complaint documentation</li> <li>Medication administration responsibilities include oral medications, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections</li> <li>Phlebotomy and laboratory testing: venipunctures, CLIA-Waived and non-CLIA-Waived lab procedures performed on-site</li> <li>Physician procedure and exam assistance: equipment preparation, instrument sterilization and storage, and exam room stocking</li> <li>Referral coordination and pre-certification: arranges specialist consultations, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries</li> <li>Front-office collaboration: answers phones, assists with scheduling, patient check-out, and referral processing</li> <li>Occasional local travel to support other clinic locations within the El Paso network</li> <li>HIPAA-compliant documentation in the patient medical record per practice charting policy</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program required — OR — three (3) years of relevant healthcare work experience in lieu of diploma or current MA certification</li> <li>Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program preferred; MA diploma plus one (1) year of relevant experience is the strongly preferred profile</li> <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel locally between clinic sites as needed</li> </ul>
