Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation required
- In-depth clinical knowledge of emergency nursing best practices, regulatory standards, and evidence-based guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written); additional language proficiency preferred
- Basic computer proficiency required
