Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas is recruiting a Lead Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to serve as a senior technical resource across a full-service, faith-based health system with more than 120 years of community presence. This role supports the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical and obstetric procedures across the full age spectrum, working alongside a collaborative surgical team in a facility embedded within a six-hospital system that includes a specialized children's hospital, a comprehensive cancer care network, and a dedicated School of Health Professions. Qualifications

  • Graduate of a DOE- or CHEA-accredited surgical technology program required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist with demonstrated competency across all surgical specialties
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
  • Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Texas licensure or eligibility to practice in the state of Texas
