Practice Highlights

  • Performs basic through complex diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision across all patient age groups — newborn through elderly
  • Rotation through advanced diagnostic radiology areas including the OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, fluoroscopy, and trauma
  • Assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma imaging
  • Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs with professional judgment applied to patient care and image quality
  • Part of the Baptist Medical Network, spanning 12 counties across South Texas with a diverse multi-specialty provider base
  • Collaborative environment with licensed physicians and multi-disciplinary teams focused on high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program required; Associate degree preferred
  • ARRT certification required, or registry-eligible with ARRT credential obtained within one year of graduation
  • Current BLS certification required
  • State licensure required if mandated by Texas regulations
  • 1–3 years of radiologic technology experience preferred; new graduates meeting registry-eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply
